Eastern Sunrise is Done!

I started this quilt in February 2013!!!
I finished the quilt top in February 2015.
I finished quilting and binding the quilt in September 2016. :)

Crazy how long a quilt can take eh?

I am so happy its done now.

You can make Eastern Sunrise too with my free Eastern Sunrise Free Paper Piecing Block.  More about the quilt and the block at the link.

I would love to see what you make. Please also remember to link back to my blog if you share your quilt.
Please note: The pattern is for personal use only. The pattern or items made from the pattern cannot be distributed or sold without consulting me (the designer).
Thanks!

Some Christmas Gift Sewing!

Carrying on with my paper pieced compass blocks for Christmas Table Toppers. I like this one but wish I had used the red in the centre instead of the green.

A little Christmas Sewing

Quilting on the Square had a free paper pieced block of the month program on their website - I don't think the patterns are available anymore. They were all compass blocks but I thought they would look pretty with Christmas fabric. So I made this for our foster grandmother.

I pieced this one but haven't quilted it yet.

I feel like they look like stars and work for Christmas.
