I love love love this. When I was a child, my Grandma Emily had a flour sac quilt in this pattern. It had flowers of different colors, white centers and pale yellow background. I remember many nights fingering the flowers and drifting off to sleep. It was my favorite. When she passed away, and my mother went through her home, she threw it out cause there were worn parts. I found out months later of course and cried. I have said that I would make another one. And I have some 1930’s fabric to make it with. But seeing your quilt here makes me realize that I need to make my own quilt. I love bright happy colors like what you have used here and I think that is why I have not felt the excitement to start it. All those pastel colors are not doing it for me. Thank you for sharing this work in progress! It’s gorgeous! Blessings!
Thanks so much. :) I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother's quilt. That is unfortunate. I hope you do make your own quilt with fabrics that make you happy. :)
