This was supposed to be a Lap Quilt from Tula Pink's Prince Charming but it's more of a twin now! Well it's really 70" X 82"... so a good size twin?
Anyway I am very happy with this top finish. I love Tula Pink's Prince Charming collection. I used Kona Snow for the background.
I feel like I need to practice my free motion skills a lot more before I quilt this quilt. It needs a whimsical quilting design I think - with lots of swirls maybe? I don't know. I have to think about this one for a bit.

Love the colours! I look forward to seeing how you machine quilt it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty, cheerful quilt! Great job!
ReplyDeleteOoo-oooh! Looks citrusy and fresh. I am the worst for coming up with quilting ideas but swirls or fans would suit that one nicely.
ReplyDeleteOoh, love the colours, Carol! Don't overthink the FMQ -- just get in there and do it! Seriously -- you can do it! Thanks for linking up to TGIFF!
ReplyDeleteOooh, this is delicious! I love Prince Charming, and this pattern is such a great way to show those prints off! :)
ReplyDeleteVery lovely quilt. And isn't it great to have a finish? Well done for you, I say.
ReplyDeleteLove this! I just bought some Tula Prince charming and was wondering what in the world I was gonna make with it. Wondered how the snail print looked cut up. Thanks. Love the way it reads farther away too.
