Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt

These are flowers so far for the Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt Sample for the store. Been trying to work out a background colour... there are pictures on the store blog of different options. You can see them here: Sew Sisters Quilt Shop. I guess I'm leaning toward Kona Cotton - Coal... but for some reason I'm having a hard time choosing. My initial thought was to go with white but then... it's not transferring so well..
